Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Deal

Andrew ngo: I would not recommend this phone. Initially I started out a bit happy, until I noticed the horrible battery life. I was averaging about 8 hours of low usage, which meant the phone would be dead before I got home at night. The 2.1 update (that took an extremely long time) made this somewhat better, but Sony has shown that they are terrible at rolling out updates at a reasonable pace.

J. Mcbee (Ont, Canada) : That actual deal breaker is a problem with the USB connection. Forums online have shown that it fails after 4-6 months, and I too have had this problem. While some people are successfully having it covered under the warranty, not all are. And the warranty is only a year long, so there is almost no chance this phone will survive the entire length of a 2 year contract. I'm hoping that SE comes up with a remedy for this fault, but I won't count on it. Until then, I would highly recommend that others avoid this phone..

V. Granados "rio4sure" (Chicago, IL. USA): I was so happy to know that SE was coming out with a android phone, but I still wait a whole year to buy this model because I know by expirience sony ericsson always has software issues with their phones,Im starting to realize that sony is not as good as they claim to be, their phone software is still has the same problems from 5or more years back, for example wifi connectivity, with my nexus one, my phone stays connected all the time even if the phone goes to a sleep mode, and when I go out my 3g mode kicks in, when Im back home my phone switches automaticly to wifi mode, sony ericsson phone are difficult to get connected to a wifi network, and dont let me get started on the other issues concerning their old and outdated interfaces, going back to the X10 they claiming is a 8 mp camera (whata joke!) the pic quality is awful and they calling the little light they put on the phone a camera flash.
